Pick out several large peanuts with uncracked shells.
One one half of each peanut, paint eyes, a nose, and a mouth.
Cut out a small strip of fabric about 1 inch wide by 2 inches long. Place glue on the bottome half of the peanut. Wrap the fabric around the bottom half of the peanut, pressing it firmly against the glue.
Add bow ties and top hats cut from construction paper; or make a bonnet for the ladies. Glue the accessories onto the peanuts.
Cut a pipe cleaner into 3 inch long pieces. Wrap the pipe cleaner around the middle of the peanut for arms.
Glue the peanut people to the raft, or attach one of them to the back of the raft mast.
