What you need:
- Rolled oats
- Muslin
- Tinsel *See note below
- Christmas fabric
Cute for the little kids in the family to sprinkle on the lawn or patio before going to bed. It works and it's a little more then just milk and cookies!
Stir together rolled oats and cut up tinsel really fine.( this is the sparkle). I cut a peice of muslin (but any cloth will do) stitch up little sacks. 2" x 1" Fill little sacks with mixture. Fold closed.
Cut a 5" square of Christmas material. Wrap sacks by putting corners together and to finish tie with ribbon and card.
NOTE: Tinsel can be dangerous to small animals and birds - you can substitute with edible silver decorations found at grocery/food stores.
