Cream peanut butter and butter in bowl. Gradually beat in sugars and eggs. Add flour and baking soda. Add chocolate chips.
Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Flatten with a floured fork to get lines in cookie.
Bake at 350 degrees F (180 degrees Celsius) for 10 minutes. Depending on size of cookie, makes about 4 dozen smaller ones.
You can dress these up for Christmas with colored baking chips or M&Ms.
