A family favorite
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. soft butter
- 3/4 c. sifted confectioner's sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/8 c. sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. finely chopped nuts
Instructions
Mix together first three ingredients thoroughly. Sift together the
flour and the salt and stir into the main batter. Mix in nuts.
Chill dough. Roll into 1" balls. Place 2 1/2" apart on ungreased
baking sheet. Bake in 100% degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes or until set, but
not brown. While still warm, roll in confectioner's sugar. Cool. Roll in
sugar again.
Makes about 4 dozen.
