A tastey holiday cookie
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup finely chopped walnuts or pecans
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1 stick cold butter
- 4-6 Tbsp cold water
- cinnamon sugar
Combine flour, nuts and sugar in a large bowl. Cut in
with pastry knife until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
water a few tablespoons at a time until dough holds together,
do not over moisten. Divid into two parts and refrigerate
for 1 hour.
Roll out on well floured surface and cut out with cookie
Sprinkle cookies with cinnamon sugar and bake at 375F
10-15 minutes until golden.
