Definition:
The Scots, Poles and Russians celebrate St. Andrew's Day.
Andrew was the first of Christ's apostles and traveled widely preaching the Christian gospel, until he was crucified by a Roman governor.
The Scots believe he was buried where the city and cathedral of St. Andrew were later built.
Both Russia and Scotland claim him as a patron Saint.
Celebrated on November 30.
