St. David's Day
Definition:
National Day for Welsh people. St. David lived in the 6th century and died on March 1, 544 A.D.
Patron Saint of Wales.
Holiday is celebrated with storytelling, singing and banquets. Welsh people may wear daffodils in their lapels or leeks in their hat bands as a symbol of their homeland.
