Flawed Dogs Flawed Dogs The Year-End Leftovers at The Piddleton "Last Chance" Dog Pound
by Berkeley Breathed

Hardcover: 36 pages
Publisher: Little Brown & Company; 1st edition (October 2003)
ISBN: 0316713597
Reading level: Ages 9-12

Dog lovers of all ages will love this hilarious look at "Flawed Dogs". Dogs who for one reason or another may not be as perfect as their show dog counterparts.

Flawed Dogs "is the annual catalogue of the country's most shockingly unadoptable dogs, collected regularly at the Piddleton "Last Chance" Dog Pound in Piddleton Vermont. With the Piddleton Poetry club providing color commentary on each of the madly imperfect pooches."

The colorful illustrations will have you laughing out loud. You'll be flipping back to each page over and over. You may even recognize your own "Flawed Dog" in one of them. I'm almost certain my own dog Midnight is a cousin of "Flawed Dog" Pete.

The accompanying rhymes to each illustration are snappy and fun. A great read for not only kids, but big kids too! There's something for all ages in each "Flawed Dog".
