Well, if pirates are bad,
And vampires are worse,
Then I pray that as long as I be
That though I sing of Vampirates
I never one shall see.
Twins, Connor and Grace, never dreamed that there was any truth to the Vampirate shanty their father sang to them before he died, but that was before the two were shipwrecked and separated from each other.
Connor was rescued from the sea and taken aboard a pirate ship.
Grace, not so lucky, was pulled from the waters and taken aboard a mysterious ship of vampire pirates.
The special bonds between twins is strong. Connor and Grace feel that each other are alive and want nothing more than to find each other.
Unfortunately they are an ocean apart. Connor learning the ways of pirate life and Grace aboard a dangerous ship not knowing what will become of a human among a crew of vampires.
Each chapter of Vampirates: Demons of the Ocean alternates between Connor and Grace and their challenges in their new lives. It isn't until the final chapters you learn what becomes of the two and if they find each other again.
A good, action-filled read with just enough sentimental moments to keep you hoping that Connor and Grace reunite. But will they?
