How Well do you know your Friends?
New Scene It?® DVD Game Tests Players' Knowledge of the Hit Friends Television Series

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (Jan. 18, 2006) – Just how well do fans know their Friends? Remember when Joey got a Thanksgiving turkey stuck on his head? The Scene It?® Friends DVD game includes all of the hilarious classic moments and escapades of Chandler, Monica, Ross and the rest of the Friends gang. It challenges players' knowledge with images and clips as they answer trivia questions and race around the board to win. Mattel, Inc. (NYSE: MAT) has teamed up with Screenlife, LLC, the creator of Scene It?®, the first-ever DVD-based board game and Warner Bros. Consumer Products to create this exciting addition to the award-winning lineup of Scene It?® DVD games.

Players compete in Scene It?® Friends with questions such as, "Which of Phoebe's songs is made into a music video and eventually a commercial jingle?" "What is Joey's signature pick-up line?" and "Who was the only Friends star to direct several episodes?" Scene It?® Friends contains more than a thousand scenes, stars, images and trivia challenges from all 10 seasons of the hit comedy series.

Card-based questions come in three categories named in the style of Friends episodes – "The One with the Details," "The One with All the Dialogue" and "The One with the Pop Culture." "Details" questions ask the who, what, when, where and why of Friends, "Dialogue" questions ask who said what and "Pop Culture" questions ask about items in popular culture related to Friends episodes and cast members.

DVD-based questions include "My Play" or "All Play" options, which launch clips and puzzles on the players' TV screen. The proprietary Optreve® technology, exclusive to Scene It?® games, randomizes Friends clips for a different version of the game every time, and a Flextime® game board allows time-constrained friends and families to play a quick game on the fly or opt to unfold the game board for a longer, more complete game experience.

Scene It?® Friends is currently available nationwide and has a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $39.99.
