Groove to New Kid-Friendly Tunes on Putumayo's Portable 12-CD Listening Station, Pick Up a Free Sampler CD and see video clips from upcoming release at Booth 5119

Putumayo Kids offers retailers a world of opportunity at the 2008 American International Toy Fair, February 17-20 at the Javits Center in New York. Toy Fair-goers can drop by Booth 5119 to pick up a free sampler CD, featuring lively tunes from Putumayo Kids' rich collection of international music for children and families. Putumayo will also offer free freight for retailers who place orders at the show, along with the company's no-risk trial offer for new accounts. Putumayo Kids is also launching a new slim and portable 12 CD listening station, available to retailers for the first time. The mobile listening station runs on batteries and does not need to be near an electrical outlet.

Putumayo will also sponsor an evening of Latin music featuring Carimi at the ASTRA "Party Under the Stars" event Sunday night, February 17th at FAO Schwarz in Manhattan.

At Toy Fair, Putumayo Kids will offer previews of three new world music adventure products for 2008:

    Sesame Street Playground (June 24) A true international musical adventure, this CD/DVD set features songs and videos from Sesame Street productions around the world. The landmark release represents the shared mission of Putumayo Kids and Sesame Workshop: to reach children worldwide and help instill an understanding and respect for other cultures and a love of learning. Sesame Street Playground is the first globally distributed Sesame Workshop CD.     African Dreamland - (April 29) The latest Dreamland CD from Putumayo Kids continues the series that has brought peace and relaxation to music fans both young and old. The soothing sounds presented on this collection feature vocal and instrumental blends from Mali to Madagascar.

    Hawaiian Playground Just released, this lively collection explores the playful side of Hawaiian music. With selections featuring the sounds of ukuleles, steel guitars and harmonious vocals, this album is sure to warm up Toy Fair attendees. Retailers who want to give a world of music to their customers will discover 12 other CDs available from Putumayo Kids. Two recent award-winning releases are Animal Playground and Celtic Dreamland.
