Monster Maker Card Game Wins iParenting Media Award
Buffalo Games expands product line with new card game
Buffalo, NY (February 7, 2007) - Buffalo Games, makers of the Monster Maker card game, have been granted an iParenting Media Award for Best Product of 2007. Monster Maker is an outrageous race to create colorful Monsters by trading and exchanging “parts cards” with opponents or drawing from the “garbage pile”. A creative Monster Maker story book is also included in each pack. The game can be played by 2-5 players and is recommended for children 6 years and up.
“We are very proud to receive the Best Product of 2007 award from iParenting Media,” said Paul Dedrick, president of Buffalo Games. “The game is simple to learn and easy to play with great visuals and creative trading fun. Social interaction and imaginative creativity are characteristics we employ in all of our games in effort to make life more fun and rewarding for the entire family,” he added.
"iParenting has been reviewing products for families for more than 10 years and we are proud and honored to take on that responsibility," says Alvin All, Chief Executive Officer of iParenting Media. "The iParenting Media Awards program is an unprecedented process that carefully reviews and then recognizes the best products in the marketplace and shares them with parents. The products submitted in our Best Products Call for Entry were diverse and appealing, but only the ones that exceeded the high evaluation standards we set earned the iParenting Media Award."
To be considered for an award, each company submitted samples which were then precisely matched within iParenting's database of hundreds of experienced reviewers using iParenting's state-of-the-art technology. An expert in a childcare setting and a family reviewed the product and submitted a thorough evaluation of the game.
Monster Maker is joined by two additional new card games introduced by Buffalo Games in 2007, Imaginiff™ and Nacho Loco™.
