Wise Alec: Civilize This, Wise Alec: Nature Nuts, and Wise Alec: Sports
Buffs (MSRP $14.95 each) each include 300 questions in two levels of difficulty so everyone can play
together. Wise Alec cards throw in tongue twisters, brain teasers, exercises, and activities that will get
you going.
The new sets arrive without the game board, which means that they are road-ready, but they can also
be added to the original, award-winning Wise Alec Family Trivia Game as expansions to the traditional
table top board game.
Games That Get You Going
Civilize This and Nature Nuts take elementary classroom topics and give them a hilarious spin. Civilize
This takes players through time and space with interesting facts about Ancient, Medieval, and Modern
cultures from all over the world. Nature Nuts challenge players to dig up facts about animals, plants,
and the Earth. For extra]curricular fun, Wise Alec: Sports Buffs challenges players with tidbits about
sport origins and rules, history and moments, and athletes and statistics.
Like the original Wise Alec Family Trivia Game, the Travel and Expansion Sets are mind-provoking while
encouraging healthy and active lifestyles.
Playing Wise Alec (MSRP $25.99, for 2-6 players ages 8 and up) opponents have a chance for making
wise choices before, during, and after the game. On each turn, players try to earn points as they move
around the board answering questions in three different categories. Each question offers a choice of an
easy or more difficult question. Players can use their strengths for maximum or minimum risk and
reward, but when a player lands on a Wise Alec card though, the fun really begins.
A former educator, Schwartzman explains, Since we created Wise Alec as a total forum for
demonstrating how a great game can bring people together in wholesome fun, we incorporated positive
lifestyle habits and encouraged good manners throughout the game.For example, Wise Alec includes
some riddles and mental challenges, but it also allows advancements or deductions for poor etiquette,
like burping in public and losing 2 points, or healthy fitness abilities, like doing push ups for extra points.
