New York, NY February 10, 2012 . Pressman Toy Corporation, known for delighting families with classic games and innovative licensed products for nearly 100 years, today announced a licensing deal with Classic Media, a global media company with a portfolio of some of the world.s leading family entertainment brands, to develop games based on the new preschool series Tinga Tinga Tales®. Pressman Toy's games will be available at mass and specialty retailers nationwide in August 2012.

"This sensational preschool series combines vibrant art and folk tales from Africa" said Jim Pressman, president of Pressman Toy Corporation. "When we first saw this unique art and special aspect of story-telling, we knew we wanted to make games that would bring this same experience to children at home."

The Tinga Tinga Tales series is an all-new preschool show featuring children's favorite safari animals, like Monkey, Elephant and Lion, that brings their adventures to life through stories told with a funny twist about how they came to be, such as .Why Elephant has a trunk!. or .Why Monkeys swing in the trees!. The series launched on Disney Junior in February 2011. "We are very happy to be partnering with Pressman Toy who has really captured the vibrant look and uniqueness of the brand in the product," says Karyn Schneider, VP, Licensing, Classic Media. "These games bring the world of Tinga Tinga Tales to life, allowing children to use their imagination, improve their skills and have fun at the same time!" Pressman Toy plans to introduce a range of Tinga Tinga Tales skill, action and memory games, each retailing for under $20.

Swinging Monkey Race Game: Allows kids to put their strategy skills to the test as they try to swing their monkey mover onto as many 3D trees as they can, using only the fruit landing spots that were rolled. For 2 to 4 players. Ages 4 and up. MSRP: $17.95

Tell Me a Story Memory Game: Kids get a chance to creatively tell their own story of why an object or animal is placed where it is within the game board and then apply their memory skills to reveal it later. For 2 to 4 players. Ages 4 and up. MSRP: $13.95

Additional games such as Tinga Tinga Tales® Dominoes, Go Fish Card Game, Pop ¡®" Race and Make A Match will also be available.

Pressman Toy games will be joined by toys from Bandai, books from Penguin's Grosset & Dunlap division, DVDs from Vivendi Entertainment, puzzles from Ravensburger and Colorforms from University Games.
