WAR HORSE Joey (61125) -MSRP:$24.99

Breyer® Adds WAR HORSE's Joey to its Legendary Collection of Model Horses

Pequannock, NJ - Feb. 10, 2012 - WAR HORSE's Joey joins the legendary Breyer Animal Creation's stable along with a diverse collection of high-stepping steeds, their playful animal pals and environments at the Reeves International Booth 2107 at the American International Toy Fair, Feb. 12-15, 2012 at the Jacob Javits Center.

Breyer's Joey includes Michael Morpurgo's best-selling children's book, in keeping with Breyer's tradition of recreating horse heroes of literature, film and competition. What makes Breyer model horses such enduring classics are the breadth and scope of its collections, as well as the quality and value that parents can embrace.

All Breyer models - from Traditional® to miniature Stablemates® models - start with clay model sculpted by an equine expert. Each Breyer model is hand-decorated and finished, so that no two models are ever exactly alike. More than toys, each Breyer model is collectable, often sharing a life journey for their owners beginning in childhood right through to adulthood, creating a life experience enriched through their connection with horses and the model horse hobby.

New 2012 introductions also include accessories to enhance the role play aspects of Breyer's Classics® range, new plush horses and new ponies with grooming features for pre-school children, all at gift-friendly price points.

Breyer's new Traditional Line models offer a wide variety of collectable and playful model horses in porcelain, resin and plastic. From the elegant porcelain Year of perfection of the new resin Breeds of the World Collection and the playful Let's Go Racing Set, there is truly a model horse for everyone.

Philanthropy runs deep in Breyer's world and benefit models include an Old Friends Thoroughbred Rescue model, an ASPCA set with horse, dog and cat and a new Pink Ribbon Horse which raises funds for the fight against breast cancer.

Horses in history are also honored. Abraham Lincoln's Old Bob celebrates the Great Liberator during this Civil War Sesquicentennial and Theodore Roosevelt is represented by his Little Texas.
