Ever Wonder Records ASHBURN, VA – (February 11, 2010):Business Week predicts that in the next 10 years, “New toys will hark back to the 1980s, when science and math ruled the store shelves. . . .” From the White House to Main Street, America is focused on science education. “Science You Can Sing To™” is perfectly timed to capture the preschool segment of this growing market trend.

Created through a partnership between Curiosity Zone, an award-winning hands-on science center, and a group of Grammy Award-winning musicians, “Science You Can Sing To™” combines science with legitimate original rock music to inspire curiosity in little ones everywhere. The Company will debut its product line at the 2010 American International Toy Fair, February 14-17, in New York.

The “Science You Can Sing To™” line showcases the Company’s first CD, Swamp Stomp Boogie. "Swamp Stomp hits all the basic criteria for good kids' music: It's well-produced, and the songwriting is fun and quirky." (USA Today) To listen to songs from Swamp Stomp Boogie, please visit

But the line extends the play and educational value well beyond the twelve songs on the CD, providing a companion “Zoo Adventure” science kit filled with ideas and tools for exploring the world of animal science.

The line also includes kid-sized lab coats, starting at size 2T, providing an opportunity for even the youngest kids to role-play as scientists.

The company plans to produce a complete line of “Science You Can Sing To™” CDs and preschool activity kits with coordinated mobile applications, introducing little scientists to the wonders of outer space, the oceans, earth science, their own backyards and more.

Ever Wonder Records is an independent entertainment company founded in 2008 by Mary Porter Green, founder of Curiosity Zone, an award-winning hands-on science center for kids, and Linda Blum Huntington, a music industry veteran. At the heart of the brand is a series of albums and related activity kits that inspire kids to discover the science all around them. The brand features an adventurous cast of characters, including Captain Curiosity; Monty the Preschool Rock Star; Tim and Stan, the Superhero Primates; Pogo the Panda; Mr. Bones; and crocodilians Allie and Croc.
The Company produced Swamp Stomp Boogie in Nashville with Grammy Award-winning producers and musicians and Wammie Award-winning rock star Shane Hines. Each of the songs was inspired by the curriculum developed by Curiosity Zone. The songs highlight discoveries kids can make at the zoo, inspiring them to ask questions like: Ever wonder how birds can fly? What shadows are? Where crocodiles live?
