Jazwares, Inc. Has Been Awarded Master Toy License for the Upcoming Animated Film Planet 51
SUNRISE, FL - February 15, 2009 - Jazwares™, a leader in the licensed products marketplace, has been awarded the master toy license for the animated film Planet 51. Planet 51 is an animated action comedy made and produced by Ilion Animation Studios and co-produced by Hand Made Films featuring the voices of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jessica Biel, Justin Long, Gary Oldman, Seann William Scott and John Cleese that follows American astronaut Captain Charles "Chuck" Baker as he discovers a planet inhabited by little green people happily living in a white-picket-fence world. Unfortunately, the inhabitants of Planet 51 live in fear of alien invasion, and Chuck is the alien. The launch of the product line is set to coincide with the movie's release in November 2009. The product range will include action figures, vehicles, plush toys and RC toys.
