Wild Republic Morphs™ Line of Mix `n Match Products
New York, NY - (February 16, 2008) – Wild Republic unveils an exciting new and innovative redesign of one of its best-selling product lines at The American International Toy Fair in New York this February as its wildly popular MagnaMorphs™ line experienced its own corporate social responsibility program.
The new Wild Republic Morphs™ dropped its "Magna" component in favor of a safer and more eco-friendly snap together feature. The entirely new Morphs line will be reintroduced with all of Wild Republic's consumer-favorite animal species, dinosaurs, and figure sets, as well as all-new completely compatible lines of Morphs Cars and Morphs Environments sets.
G.B. Pillai, president and founder of Wild Republic, said, "We felt that it was extremely important to make a proactive modification to the Morphs line. We have not had any issues with the product, but if our slight modification can ease consumer concerns about toy safety, then we felt strongly that we should take action."
The new Morphs Cars are cool, sports cars and modified racecar styles that come complete with accessory parts and decal sheets. The Morphs Environments add an entirely new element to the Morphs line. The environments are fun settings and scenes for all of the Morphs with naturescapes that consist of even more interchangeable pieces and parts.
The new extensions join the original multi-award-winning product line that earned honors from the toy industry, parent groups and education leaders for its creative and imaginative play value. In addition, the Morphs Cars and Morphs Environments will be added to Wild Republic's new Morphs interactive point-of-purchase retail activity centers for children.
Kim Hammeren, Director of Marketing and Special Projects for Wild Republic, explained, "Our new Morph displays offer children an in-store experience of assembling Morphs over and over again by switching and interchanging the different parts. Our new retail activity centers are ideal trials for children of all ages to experience the fun of the products and then take home one of the nearly 40 different unique themed Morphs playsets that Wild Republic offers."
Wild Republic Morphs (MSRP $10 - $16, for ages 4 and up) offer a unique way to challenge a child's imagination through building and creative play. Morphs are just one of the many successful Wild Republic toy lines that include the famous hanging plush monkeys, Steve Irwin Wildlife Adventure Series, Cuddlekins, Blanket Pillow Buddies, Audubon Birds, Paws & Claws domestic animal toys, Know & Grow development toys, adventure box sets, wooden puzzles, wind-ups, wall walkers, and puppets, among other items.
