On April 22, 2008, Random House began its multi-year, multi-faceted Uglydoll publishing program with books from Guides to the Uglyverse, to pop-ups, to illustrated stories for fans of all ages.
Chronicle Books has produced irresistible stationery items including, plush covered Uglydoll journals, address books, Fold-and-Mail Stationery, postcards, and notebook sets…2008 also brings a *brand new* calendar and more journals for fans to enjoy.
Mighty Fine, Inc. manufactured funky Uglydoll T-shirts for young adults in May 2008 and also for kids for October 2008.
The Walter Foster 'How To Draw Uglydoll' kit, which also comes packaged with colorful Uglydoll markers is already a best seller at FAO Schwarz.
An all-new official Uglydoll website launched in March and is community based with a blog and hyperlinks to MySpace and YouTube. These sites are brimming over with Uglydoll fan videos and the numbers grow daily! Even more fun is in store next year with mini uglydoll figures and some smashingly Ugly national promotions.
