NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Nov 10, 2008 Street Surfing, the makers of The Wave, has disguised a healthy activity into a cool lifestyle choice that kids and teens will want this holiday season. The Wave Stealth® Board, a newly designed in-line casterboard, blends the motions of surfing, snowboarding and skateboarding to the fast growing and popular sport of Street Surfing.
With a camouflaged design of Army green and brown colors, the Wave Stealth provides a fresh fun ride for your tween or teen this season.
Consisting of two platforms with a sure grip-tape deckplate design and joined by an anodized torsion bar. The Wave Stealth’s two “Street Tech” wheels have Abec 7 bearings and casters that spin 360 degrees while the swiveling base allows riders to self propel by going forward, downhill and even uphill by just bending their knees and twisting their hips and shoulders.
The Wave Stealth joins a family of award winning Wave products (from Street Surfing) that is literally making waves and shopping lists this holiday season. The Wave Ripple inline casterboard for kids 10 and under was recently chosen Creative Child Award Toy of the Year for 2008 while its older brother, The Wave®, the original casterboard, was named as The Toy Insider’s Hot 20 toys in the annual holiday toy guide publication and won the Greatest Product of 2008 for sporting goods from iParenting Media Award, a Disney Internet Group property.
