Create Toys and Treats in New PC Game Everything Nice

Everything Nice Namco Networks Brings New Time Management Game to Casual Games Market

SAN JOSE, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Apr 14, 2009 Turn a run-down toy factory into a top-notch assembly line in Everything Nice, a casual PC game from Namco Networks, a leading publisher and developer of interactive entertainment for mass-market casual gamers, and game developer Mean Hamster Software, Inc.

Available at the recently launched www.namcogames.com/downloads, Everything Nice is a time management game where players help Abby — a kind-hearted employee who wants to make more classic, less violent toys — fill orders by using the mysterious Wondermachine9000. Players follow ‘recipes’ and add ingredients to the toy machine, which transforms ordinary materials — buttons, candy and stuffing — into wonderful toys and tasty delights. Each item has its own recipe that must be followed perfectly for it to turn out properly. To advance, players complete orders to earn cash and meet a daily minimum goal.

In addition to cuddly toys and a frantic pace, Everything Nice features:

  • 48 levels, each with different goals.
  • Recipes and ingredients to make more than 35 unique toys and gifts.
  • 16 upgrades, such as Wings and Fancy Shoes, that help Abby work more efficiently.

“With a hectic, challenging pace, Everything Nice takes traditional time management games a step further,” said Joel Brodie, founder of Gamezebo.com. “Everything Nice will definitely appeal to people looking for a fast-paced game, and with two modes of play (Story and Endless Day), it's a good length with a cute premise.”

“Time management games are an increasingly popular genre of casual games and fans of the genre are becoming more sophisticated in the types of games they play,” said David Schwartz, general manager for PC games at Namco Networks. “We are pleased to be able to bring Everything Nice to market, as it represents an evolution in time management games by requiring greater strategy at a faster pace. Fans of the genre will be certainly be challenged.”

A free-60 minute trial of Everything Nice can be downloaded at namcogames.com/downloads. Once purchased for $19.95, players can access all 48 levels and can enjoy the game at anytime. In addition to download games, in the coming months, namcogames.com will also offer free flash games and a variety of new and classic games.
