To make the lion's head, draw and cut out from construction paper a head and ears about the same width as the bottom of the paper bag. Add eyes, a nose, a mouth, and whiskers.
- Small brown paper bag
- Construction paper
Glue the lion's head to the center of a sheet of paper. Cut 2 to 3 inches away from the lion's head to make the mane. Then cut slits around the edges, and use a pencil to curl the fringe a little. Glue the lion's head to the bottom of the paper bag.
To make the body, draw and cut out a piece of paper and glue it to the front of the bag just under the lion's head. Add two paper feet.
Place your hand inside the bag and curve your fingers over the fold to move the lion's head.
