A nice holiday cookie
Ingredients

1 3/4 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar - packed
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 egg
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 48 Hershey's Kisses™
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine flour, soda and salt. Cream together
shortening and sugars in a separate bowl, add in egg,
milk and
vanilla. Mix with dry ingredients and peanut butter.
Mix with an
electric mixer on medium until well combined and smooth.
Chill for 30 minutes.
Heat oven to 375F. Roll dough into 1 inch balls. Bake
on
ungreased cookie sheet for aprox 12 minutes until light
brown.
Remove from oven and immediately press a Hershey Kiss™ into the
center
of each. Makes 4 dozen.
