Mummy: Hi, we made a mummy costume one year for my nephew. He won first place. We took strips of an old white sheet, dyed it in tea, to age it, then hot glued it to old sweat pants, shirt, and old shoes,. We used a ski mask for his face and he was warm as well. We live in northeast Michigan and it can be cold here on Halloween. It was fun. He looked great!!! We love Halloween too!! Tip: use newspaper to inflate the clothes as not to glue front of the clothing to the back. The hot glue can penetrate both sides. Then you have to pull it apart. It can be difficult. You take your dads old suit and make sure you have his permission you tear it and make look all dirty and gruesome and, mess up you hair and put green and black face paint on and your a mummy!
