Popcorn Box: All I did was take a medium box, turned it long wise, painted it white, made red pin stripes down the front and back, used a black marker to write popcorn on it and hot glued pop corn on the top of the box. I also added some to her hair, for added creativity we popped a fresh bag just before we were judged at the costume party. ( she smelled good enough to eat!) We won first place! All you need is a cardboard box, white paint, either red markers or paint, yellow puff paint and popcorn. Cut out the bottom of the box and also a hole for the head and arms. Paint the box white, add red stripes. I then used puff paint to write "popcorn" across the front. After everything is dry I glued popcorn all over the top of the box. I added a cardboard piece for the head as well and glued popcorn to it. My daughter won 1st place at a costume party for this unique and easy costume.
