Summer Snacks
Snack of the Day - Banana Smoothie
What you Need:
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 Cup chopped fresh fruit or drained canned fruit
  • 1/2 Cup fruit juice
  • 1 Cup flavored yogurt
  • Dash of nutmeg .
Instructions:
Adult supervision required.

Cut banana into chunks. If fruit is large also cut into chunks. Strain canned fruit if using.

Measure fruit, yogurt and juice and place in blender. Blend for 5 seconds.

Turn off blender and check mixture. If still chunky blend for additional 5 seconds.

Divide smoothies into 2 glasses and top with dash of nutmeg.
