PRESSMAN TOY EXPANDS ITS AWARD-WINNING CHIMP AND ZEE LINE TO INCLUDE CRAFTS AND NEW GAMES FOR PRESCHOOLERS

New York, February 11, 2011 – Pressman Toy Corporation, known for delighting families with classic games and innovative licensed products for nearly 100 years, is expanding its awardwinning Chimp and Zee specialty line for preschoolers in 2011. The line of beautifully designed games and puzzles, first introduced in 2009, will now include three themed craft kits as well as two new games. New additions to the Chimp and Zee line will be available for purchase at specialty retailers nationwide in fall 2011.

“Our Chimp and Zee line of games and puzzles has been a huge success with retailers, parents and children alike,” said Jim Pressman, president of Pressman Toy Corporation. “We’re excited to expand our Chimp and Zee offerings in 2011 to include ‘my first’ craft kits for preschoolers.”

Chimp and Zee crafts kits were created with the youngest of children in mind. The three themed kits – Makeover Friends, Pretty Ponies and On Safari – include double-sided, 3D craft figures. Each figure has one pre-decorated side for instant out-of-the-box play and a blank side for personal creativity. The craft kits include stickers, ribbons, beads, wool and other decorative items to enable children to make their 3D creations, plus five themed coloring sheets (crayons not included). The craft kit boxes fold out to become colorful displays for children’s artwork.

Pressman Toy’s Chimp and Zee line of preschool specialty toys was developed over the past several years with the help of teacher and parent input. Children learn through play, as they have fun with “Chimp” (a chimpanzee) and learn with “Zee” (a zebra).

Games from this entertaining and educational product line are easy for parents to set up, fun for kids (even when it is not their turn), take only 10 minutes to play and make kids laugh while learning memory, counting, communication and sharing skills. Uh oh—any players knocked off go back to start and leave their eggs behind. The player who has the most eggs at the end of the game wins.
