Techno Source Continues the Revolution in Gaming

Range of Interactive Games for the Entire Family Being Showcased at the February American International Toy Fair in New York City, Booth #3055

New York, February 17, 2008 – Techno Source continues to revolutionize gaming at the American International Toy Fair (February 17 – 20, 2008 in New York City) with the unveiling of Guess What I Am! ™, an interactive, fun family game that incorporates role-play and classic guessing exercises while helping to develop kids' deductive reasoning skills, and X vs. Y, an electronic battle of the sexes game for adults.

The company also will introduce new tabletop and handheld versions of its popular Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?™ game as well as Phase 10®, the first electronic version of the best-selling, rummy-like card game. All items are expected to be in store for fall 2008.

"This is going to be an exciting year for us at Techno Source," says Eric Levin, Executive Vice President of Techno Source. "Following on the heels of our successful launch of the award-winning Rubik's Revolution™, we are continuing the gaming revolution by adding creative, new offerings in many categories that appeal to every member of the family. X vs. Y is a fast-paced, edgy tabletop game for adults that is sure to get everyone talking at parties and couple get-togethers. Guess What I Am! ™ is our first non-electronic, interactive game, which we expect to become a staple on the game shelf."

2008 Product Highlights:

Guess What I Am! Guess What I Am! ™ is a tabletop game that puts a hilarious new twist on a classic guessing game. Place your face through the space of the mystery card, transform into one of 30 silly characters, and let the guessing begin. Roll the die to ask yes or no questions like "Do I play sports?" or "Do I have fur?" to narrow down the list of possible characters. Keep track on the tally pad and cross off the characters to figure out who you are. First player to guess correctly wins. It features four games in one and is simple enough for kids to play alone or with their friends. Ages 3+, $15.99

X vs. Y, a challenging, electronic tabletop game, pits men against women and asks the ultimate question….Who knows more about the opposite sex? Play with two teams of one or more players, men versus women, and answer gender-based questions to earn points and win the game. X vs. Y is the first adult board game that talks back to you, with built-in male and female game show hosts who guide you through the game and aren't afraid to take sides. Outrageous questions focus on topics like marriage, work, lifestyle and dating. The game features a built-in card scanner, music and sound effects as well as hundreds of question cards. Ages 18+ (adults), $29.99

Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? Tabletop Game is an electronic tabletop based on the top-rated TV game show, Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? Just like the TV show, the object is to answer 11 questions in a row, from 1st through 5th grade school subjects, in order to win one million dollars. The clever tabletop game is shaped like a chalkboard and features a wireless remote that resembles an eraser. The remote allows players to "beam" in their answers, use the cheat features, or drop out—just like real TV show contestants. This exciting family-fun tabletop game, ideal for 1 to 4 players, also features music and sound effects from the show and 13 school subjects with more than 2,500 questions. Ages 8+, $29.99

Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? Handheld Game – Pop Quiz Edition, the single-player electronic Pop Quiz Edition of the hit TV show, Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?, is designed for quick, on-the-go gameplay. Now you can find out if you are smarter than a 5th grader in under 10 minutes! Players must correctly answer 11 questions in a row to win one million dollars, but this time there are no classmates to help. So one wrong answer ends the game. Its pocket-sized pencil shape design with built-in key clip allows players to take the Pop Quiz Edition with them anywhere. The game features five subjects with 500 questions. Ages 8+, $9.99

Phase 10 is an electronic version of the best-selling, rummy-like card game. It allows players to take on 1 to 3 computer-controlled opponents. It also features sleek, portable housing, illuminated touch screen with adjustable contrast, adjustable volume and 2 gameplay modes. Play the Classic game mode and be the first to complete all 10 phases, or select Quick play mode when you're short on time and choose the number of phases you want to play. Now your favorite card game goes with you anywhere, anytime. Ages 8+, $19.99
